The Milk Retreat

A 6-week prenatal journey to bring you calm, confidence, and connection before the first latch.

Because nobody should walk into

breastfeeding feeling

alone and unprepared.

Start in January

That’s exactly what The Milk Retreat is built for.

Not just education.

Not just “take a class and hope it sticks.”

This is a guided experience designed to help you feel grounded, connected, and ready.

In 6 weeks, you’ll go from

“I hope I can breastfeed”

to

“I feel confident and ready to feed my baby.”

Inside we will…

  • Every Sunday evening.

So you can get real-time support, ask questions, and learn alongside other pregnant parents who are in the same spot as you.

  • Between sessions, you’ll get together inside our private group chat, where you can talk through concerns, celebrate wins, and get ongoing guidance from me whenever you need it.

  • Inside your member portal, you’ll follow weekly themes with short activities, journaling prompts, and perfectly chosen clips from my course, Feeding Your Baby, to help everything click without overwhelm.

  • As a gift, all members in the Retreat will get free lifetime access to the entirety of the Feeding Your Baby program. Long after baby arrives, you’ll still have trusted, go-to guidance at your fingertips.

  • You won’t be left to figure things out on your own!

Two very important lifelines will stick with you after the Retreat ends. Members will have lifetime access to

    • our exclusive alumni group chat

    • 30 days of 1:1 postpartum lactation support from me - starting the day your baby is born.

During those intense first weeks, you can get fast answers, stay grounded, and know you have a professional in your pocket.

It’s the education, the community, and the support every parent wishes they had - delivered in a way that feels easy.

Save My Seat

Proof this kind of support changes everything.

A woman, Chelsea Simpson CBS and founder of Healthy Latch, with long wavy reddish-brown hair, smiling, wearing a brown top, in a bright kitchen with white cabinets and stainless steel appliances.

Hi, I’m Chelsea.

Certification badge with a circular design, featuring the text 'Certified Breastfeeding Specialist' around the top half, and the CBS logo in purple at the center, with four colored dots underneath.

I’m a mom of two, coffee junkie, cat lover, and the owner of Healthy Latch.

Like most first-time moms, I prepared for the arrival of our baby girl from the minute we found out about her.  I knew all about the best breast pumps, what nursing pillow I wanted, picked out bottles (just in case) ... but when it came to actually feeding her, I just assumed it would come naturally!

Then she arrived and everything was a blur. I was wildly unprepared, and worse, I had nobody to help me. It was an uphill battle from day 1, and honestly, it's the whole reason I started this work.

I've spent the last 6 years helping hundreds of families navigate infant feeding, and what I always drive home is this: you are not alone. I'm always in your corner.

My approach is simple: give parents confidence and community through prenatal prep and postpartum support. I believe in giving you the best shot at achieving your goals, and that it starts before the first latch.

If you want a place to belong while you navigate this incredible experience, you're in the right place.

A week by week look at The Milk Retreat

  • We start The Retreat by grounding you in confidence - guiding you through mindset work, emotional preparation, and setting intentions that support the feeding journey you truly want.

  • In Week 2, you’ll learn to recognize hunger cues, gain important insight on how often to feed baby, and learn how to build a feeding rhythm that feels sustainable and intuitive.

  • Week 3 gently guides you through those tender first days, helping you feel ready to bond with your little one and find comfort as you begin your feeding journey together.

  • In Week 4, we’ll tackle the tough stuff like latch challenges, pain, and supply worries head-on. So you know exactly how to troubleshoot and when to get help.

  • During Week 5, we’ll focus on real-life support. You’ll learn how to build and activate a support system that lightens your mental and physical load from day one.

  • In our final week, we’ll make sure you feel prepared to take on the world, arming you with resources, community connections. and the confidence to meet your feeding goals.

 FAQs

  • The Milk Retreat is for pregnant parents who want to feel more supported and confident about feeding their baby. It’s curated to give you more than just education, providing you with the guidance, professional and individualized support, and community you crave.

You do not need to have specific feeding goals or prior experience to join.

  • Absolutely not. While the retreat is grounded in learning about the intricacies of lactation, this space is not about forcing one feeding outcome.

We talk about breastfeeding, combo feeding, pumping, bottle feeding, the works. The focus is on helping you feel informed, supported, and validated no matter how your feeding journey unfolds.

  • It’s recommended to begin learning about breastfeeding later in your second trimester or during your third trimester. This way, information is still relatively fresh, but you don’t have the pressure of needing to cram before baby arrives.

For our January cohort, suggested due date ranges are March - May, but anyone is welcome.

  • You’ll always be welcome in our community. The Milk Retreat is not anti-formula. It’s a supportive space to learn, process, and build connections with others going through the same phase of life.

Your worth as a parent is not tied to how feeding looks.

  • You’ll have access to all the materials and replays for the retreat for 90 days following the end of the session. All digital resources can be downloaded for you to keep. You will also have lifetime access to Feeding Your Baby and all the materials within that, as well as lifetime access to our alumni group chat. 30 days of private support begins the day your baby is born.

  • I want you to feel good about joining!

If you enroll and realize The Milk Retreat isn’t what you expected, you can request a refund within the first 7 days.

  • Most breastfeeding classes focus on techniques and information alone.

The Milk Retreat includes all the above, but also prioritizes mindset, emotional support, and community. It’s about how feeding actually feels, not just how it’s supposed to work.
